SARAH BROWN

MS, LPC, CLCP, CCM

Sarah Brown graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in psychology in 1998. She completed her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Colorado State University in 2002.

As an occupational therapist, Ms. Brown has worked with people of all ages, with a variety of diagnoses. She has worked in acute care, in-patient rehabilitation, home health, and pediatric settings. Ms. Brown spent six years working in a Neonatal Intensive Care unit. She has been the founder and owner of a private pediatric occupational therapy practice since 2010 in South Dakota.

In 2019, Ms. Brown completed the Capital University Law School Life Care Planning Program. Ms. Brown enjoys utilizing her knowledge as an occupational therapist to develop comprehensive and individualized medical and legal consultation services.

She is an active member in the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals as well as the International Academy of Life Care Planners. In 2020, Ms. Brown was selected to serve on the editorial board for both the Journal of Life Care Planning and Rehab Pro. In addition, Ms. Brown is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and South Dakota Occupational Therapy Association (SDOTA).
