SARAH MALLOY

MS, OTR, CCM, CLCP

Ms. Malloy obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Ms. Malloy holds national certifications as a Certified Life Care Planner, Certified Case Manager and is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist.

Ms. Malloy has worked in various settings including acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, acute rehabilitation hospitals and most recently in the home care setting. The primary population with whom she has worked has been adults with a variety of pulmonary, cardiac, orthopedic, neurological and complex medical conditions.

She is now bringing this training, education and over two decades of experience to the field of life care planning.

Ms. Malloy is an active member in the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, The New England Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, the International Academy of Life Care Planners as well as the American Occupational Therapy Association. She has contributed to the field of life care planning education by providing a lecture Productive Aging: The Role of Occupational Therapy at Capital University Law School Life Care Planning Program as well as authoring an article in the Massachusetts Bar Association Section Review, 2020; January/February: “What is a Certified Life Care Planner? Do I need one for my case?”
